Welcome to the 2024 ASPP Fall Conference
We are very excited for the new location of the Fall Conference in Harrisburg at The Central Hotel and Conference Center. This year’s fall conference theme is “Claim Your Space!” - for school psychologists to make themselves not only visible, but to make their presence unmissable, make their voices loud, and unapologetically claim space, especially in the spaces that have been traditionally unwelcome to those from minoritized communities. Only then can we fully advocate for our most marginalized students and realize the vision of a world in which all students are safe and supported.
This year's Keynote Speaker is Dr. Janise Parker who is an Associate Professor in the School Psychology program at William &Mary. As a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist, Dr. Parker takes a healing approach in all she does to inform services that help communities thrive and grow. Dr. Parker has developed equity-centered programming alongside community members, colleagues, and William & Mary students to address pressing issues in the 21st century. Her keynote will address the "hidden" domain of school psychologists as active community partners.
